YES!! Placing a 'Basic' advertisement on AdPyro is free. While other classified ad sites are charging “gold’ fees and “premium” fees, AdPyro provides full access to everyone free of charge. Simply select your location, then your category. When you place your ad, you will also have the option of promoting your ad by selecting one of the 'Featured' ad options. See below for more information.

No. Registering a Membership Account is completely optional. You are not required to have one to post your ads. But a Membership Account is a great convenience for people who post multiple ads. Your account access will give you control of all your postings in one place. Registering is quick, easy and best of all FREE!

It's easy: Click on 'Post Ad'. Make note of the geographical area. If it's not correct, select another.

Next, select the category and sub-category.

Now, write your ad title & description and complete the form.

Before you post your ad, consider making it a 'Featured' ad by selecting from the options. (for more info, see "How do I make my ad Featured" below).

That's it! After you have submitted your ad, check your email for a message from us with your ad's activation link. Your ad will not appear until you have confirmed your email with the activation link that will be sent to you.

When you create your ad, it is important to select the appropriate category where your ad to be listed. Sometimes our users will make a mistake and place their ad in the wrong category. We will usually catch it and correct it immediately. Other ads are 'Flagged' by our loyal visitors, which we then move to a more appropriate category.

If you find an ad that you believe is in the wrong category, you are encouraged to Flag it. Flagging will not delete the ad, but it will send a message to us to take a closer look at the ad.

AdPyro.com gives you the ability to do more than just post ads with our Featured Ad options.

As you complete the classified ad posting form, you will find options at the bottom that can make any posted advertisement 'Featured'.

If your ad posted but your photo did not upload, the cause is likely one of two reasons.

(1) The photo file size is too large.
(2) Your image is the wrong format.

Avoid uploading images that have a large file size. The system will automatically reject images that are above 3000k, but your ad will still post - only without the image.

The width of your image is not important. The system will automatically convert the size of larger images to fit the maximum frame size of 740 pixels wide.

Accepted Formats: .jpg, .gif or .png

If necessary, use image editing software to reduce the file size or convert image format, then try uploading again.

You can upload your image to your posted ad by going to your email and opening the verification email we sent you. It includes an 'Edit' link at the bottom of the message that will allow you to upload images. If you have a free Member Account with us, then you can also do editing and upload photos directly from your account controls. *** Be sure to put a check-mark in "I agree to the terms of use" box and click on the "Update" button at the bottom of your ad.

When you post a new ad, you will receive a verification email with an activation link for you to click. You must click on this link for your ad to appear. This email is sent out to you immediately. Look for the email from the sender adpyro@adpyro.com . There may be one of several reasons this email does not appear in your inbox.

1. Your spam filter has blocked it. - You should check your Bulk/Spam/Trash folders. Be sure to add adpyro@adpyro.com as a new contact to prevent further trouble.

2. High levels of internet traffic can slow down your mail server. Wait a few minutes and refresh your inbox.

3. Some email providing services are pre-set to send/receive only once every few minutes, or even up to once every several hours. Keep checking your inbox.

If you still have not received the verification email from us, send a message to support@adpyro.com with the title of your ad. A team member will be happy to assist you.

You can post as many ads as you like. However, each ad must be unique. If you are placing duplicate ads they must be posted in different geographical areas. For example, advertising a service that’s available nationally or regionally, you can place the same ad in the same category as long as each ad is in a different city.

Exception: You may also post the same ad in the same city twice as long as each ad is in a different category and both sub-categories are closely related. For example, say you have a tutoring service. You may place the same ad in ‘Community> Classes’ and also in ‘Services> Lessons’ because each sub-category is closely related.

Posting duplicate ads in any other manner would be considered spamming the AdPyro website.

Creating a posting for an Event is easy. Simply click on 'Post Event' on the home page Site Navigation. Enter your details, dates and upload photos if you like. All posted events for your chosen geographical area are incorporated in the home page calendar. Just click on the calendar date to see what events are happening in your area.

Below the calendar you will find three useful links;
_ event(s) today: will display all current events posted for today.
All Upcoming Events: will display events happening in the future.
Post Event: Let people know about events happening in their community. Use this link to post your event.

Feature it. Get your Event noticed! Even greater focus can be brought to your public events when you choose one of the Featured options.

If you select a Featured option when creating your Event posting, it will also be displayed on your area's home page in a section called 'Upcoming Featured Events' where it will remain until the date your event occurs.

Important: Only use this function to post actual community events, for example an Art-Show, Book Signing, Movie Night, Performance, Seminar etc. The event should be something happening in the community with an open invitation for the public to attend. Posting ads that are off-topic such as Business Opportunities or anything else that is not an actual event will be deleted.

Your posted classified ad will remain listed for 30 days and will automatically expire.

Share your images with the AdPyro community by posting them to the Gallery on the main page. It's quick, fun and easy!

First, from the main page, look in the upper left of the page and verify that you are posting to your geographical area of choice. Now click 'Post Image' from the left column and select the image you wish to upload.

**Important** Keep it clean. This is a public area shared by the community. Your image should not contain nudity, be offensive or objectionable and should be appropriate for all ages. Posted images that do not follow this simple guideline will be deleted and will get you banned from the AdPyro website.

Once you have uploaded your image, you will need to click on the verification link that will be sent to your email. In most cases, you should receive this email immediately, although not all mail servers are alike and yours could take a bit longer. If you do not receive the verification email from us within a reasonable amount of time, send a note to us at support@adpyro.com and include the title of the image or general description. A team member will find it and post the image for you.

Major U.S. cities are listed in the location navigator while smaller communities are grouped in "other" or "all areas" within that state.

For example, say you are looking for ads in Erie, Pennsylvania. Erie is not one of the major cities listed in the main location navigator, so click on "other".

Select the desired Category/sub-Category. You will be able to narrow your search by selecting the "Location" drop-down menu. You can also type the name of the community in the "City Search" box. Matching ads will be displayed. It's really pretty easy.

Another way of finding ads is by doing a more generalized search. From the main page, click on the State name. Now click on a category heading or sub-category. When you do this, ads from all cities withing that state are displayed.

Square Feet


When entering number information in fields such as Price, Square Feet, etc. always use whole numbers. Do Not enter characters such as $ # / & - + @ " ^ or anything else which is not a number. This includes 'comma' (,) and also 'period' (.) Special characters will be automatically inserted for you in the price field. If you enter a character that is not a number, you will get an error message when you attempt to post your ad.
